Liquid Morphine Sulfate (Roxanol) Info Needed!!

Generally, liquid roxanol is to be administered orally (1ml/20mg). Could this liquid be used for IV use as well?

Usually an oral solution could not be administered with a syringe either iv, im or sc. It would normally contain flavouring agents and sweetners. So I seriously doubt it. But go ahead and check the ingredients: active and other. Who knows I jave been suprised before. Good luck.

Here is the contents of Roxanol from the manufacturer I think. The solution is tinted/flavored. Those substances may not be healthy to inject. But I don´t know. There should be a more extensive list of the contents in Roxanol.

Wouldn't recommend iv use. It a pretty low dosed product. It takes a lot or morphine orally to produce euphoria. Swim would start by drinking about 10 ml. It would probably take more like 20ml. But he has a huge tolerance due to methadone use.

Morphine Sulphate can be taken IV up to at least 100 MG's at a time if cooked and strained from a 100 MG long acting pill. This is a fact. But do not expect a heroin-like high at all. SWIM has a friend who takes it twice a day IV and is happy with it, however 300 MG's a day would be beter acording to him. He is pretty tolerant though.

SWIM has a 250ml bottle of this Roxanol Liquid Morphine, 20mg/ml. It is a clear non-viscos liquid, its not a flavored syrup. he wants to know if anyone here has experience IVing this stuff.He has IVed it, and it stings like hell. But, it provides a good rush.he just wants to know if anyone has IVed the stuff themselves or know anyone that does it regularly. It does cause a slight rash at the injection site. swim has experimented with the pinkish liquid that is in the syringe w.o. the needle. swim squirted this into a spoon and it was too thick to draw up so swim added 20 cc's of water and it made it enough to pull up. swim uses a cottonball and then sticks himself, gets pins and needles in his brain and isn't dopesick anymore but longs for that lasting euphoria. maybe if you did more than 20/mg's because that's all swims were. :s

This is part chemistry question, but also want facts about this mixture that have already been, in part, addressed.

So the link in post #3 died, of course. This is why we should add shit to the site as oppposed to merely linking.

Anyways, a very bright elephant fluorescing in the UV region named novis came across a Mallinckrodt morphine sulfate highly concentrated (20mg/ml) solution. This is supposed to be a generic version of Roxanol.

She is interested in obtaining pure morphine powder from this for h conversion and is curious about the inactives in this mixture and how the lady can go about accomplishing said goals. Would a simply A/B mixture be sufficient? Thanks.

ya...swim knows about pr increased bioavailability w/ the opies, but that's really not the information he's looking for. He wants to isolate morphine sulf.

ok, well swim here is a heroin addict and at the time was withdrawing and didn't have a whole lot of worries, but he has tried iving the oral morphine. What swim has is the highly concentrated 20mg/ml. It is a light shade of blue and does have flavor added. Its consistency is about the same as water, so drawing it was very easy. Swim actually did nothing to it and iv'ed it. No pain from it at all, and it gave a decent rush but it didn't have lasting effects like heroin. Or at least the actual high part.

Swim wouldn't recommend doing this, but then again, swim had no problems with it yet, and he has done it several times the past few days. Just don't overdue, and the rush on it hits very quickly so just do the first shot slowly so you don't od.
