1. Dear Drugs-Forum readers: We are a small non-profit that runs one of the most read drug information & addiction help websites in the world. We serve over 4 million readers per month, and have costs like all popular websites: servers, hosting, licenses and software. To protect our independence we do not run ads. We take no government funds. We run on donations which average $25. If everyone reading this would donate $5 then this fund raiser would be done in an hour. If Drugs-Forum is useful to you, take one minute to keep it online another year by donating whatever you can today. Donations are currently not sufficient to pay our bills and keep the site up. Your help is most welcome. Thank you.

Antidepressants

  1. Drug free existence (compared to usual!)

Can't remember the last time I had any kind of pain meds or illegal substances. Only thing I have now is 30mg Mirtazapine every night. Haven't even touched alcohol until tonight and I am making my way through a bottle of wine. Sometimes i feel that I would love some weed or such like...or some pills. But most of the time life gets in the way of thinking.
  2. Is this the beginning of the end of my D F Adventure??

I have a hospital appointment tomorrow ( actually, because it's just past 3.a.m. the appointment is in 7 hours) that will hopefully start the ball rolling on what exactly is causing all my hip/back/pelvic bone pain. This pain has been present since November 2009, when I was 36 weeks pregnant. It was diagnosed as SPD, and I was told it would get better after the birth. Well, baby is almost 2 and a half years old, and I still have problems with sitting, standing, walking, turning over in...
  3. 3 Years Of Wedded Bliss/My recent lifestory/very long boring post.

Today, myself and my husband have been married for 3 years. "So Fckn What?!" many of you may say. All of my life, due to circumstances beyond my control, the things I experienced from seeing my parents, relatives etc marriages fall apart, led me to the conclusion that marriage was a bad thing. Why pay money to get married, when you have to pay again to get divorced?! A piece of paper doesn't stop someone from committing adultery. From the age of 8, I never had thoughts of a Dream...
  4. Probably the most boring blog in the world....

Blogging......I haven't a clue. This blog is all about Betsy. She has lurked DF for almost a year, double checking all the various meds she has been prescribed due to a painful pelvis bone/ligaments condition developed when pregnant with her 3rd child. Betsy is worried that her options are running out. Nothing takes the pain away anymore and Betsy is having to take more and more...but of course always checks not to get into unsafe levels. Betsy loves the feeling her meds give her - she...
  5. Euthanizing the Mentally Ill

I've come across articles for certain other countries, and just in general, about providing euthanasia for the mentally ill. So basically, if you are so depressed and in so much pain that you sincerely want to kill yourself, Oh they'll kill you - but they won't give you a freaking Vicodin so you don't want to die in the first place? I'm sorry but that's just hilarious... Now the funniest shit would be if they used morphine to euthanize them. Then right after the plunger went in...
  6. Did Paroxetine turn Jeff into an addict?

(what hair? what dog?) ... _____________________ No, Jeff wasn't late sending me his second instalment. It's just I was busy wasting my time making up 'yo momma jokes' in 'some for all'. I am glad Jeff doesn't know that, although he might like some of the entries. His sense of humour is quite similar to mine (I often find that very strange – we are really so different!). ... He is unwell. He says he got too impatient, cocky, arrogant. I don't know what he means, but he didn't sound...
  7. Jeff's short account of doing things and then stopping doing things

(or why cats and SSRIs don't mix) ________________________________________ I thought I would do MC Jeff a small favour and tell you his story about how and why he was put on Paroxetine, what was it like for him living on it for over ten years and finally how he managed to stop. So, nothing groundbreaking, really. Paroxetine and controversy surrounding it, has been digested hundreds of times by media. Even if you're not depressed, aware of SSRIs or don't know anyone who takes...
